Meet the four ingredients

A pot of Mum's Balm

Turn over a pot of Mum's Balm and you will find a short list. That is on purpose.

Mum's Balm is made with shea butter and essential oils of lavender, frankincense and helichrysum. Here is a little about each one.

Shea butter

The base of the balm. Shea is rich and creamy, and it gives Mum's Balm its soft, buttery feel in the pot. Warm a little between your hands and it melts as you smooth it in.

Lavender

Lavender is calming. It gives the balm its gentle scent, the one people notice first when they open the lid.

Frankincense

Frankincense is warm and woody. It sits underneath the lavender and rounds the scent off.

Helichrysum

Helichrysum is the golden "everlasting" flower. It is the least well known of the four, and one of our favourites.

Why only four?

Marilyn kept it simple when she first made the balm for her own hands in 2020, and we have kept it that way. One balm, four ingredients, made by the family in small batches.

How it feels

Mum's Balm moisturises, nourishes and conditions the skin, helping dry skin feel softer, smoother and more comfortable. A little goes a long way.

Born from nature, made by Mum.
