How Mum's Balm began

Some of the best things start at the kitchen table.
Marilyn, Stefan's mum, first made the balm in 2020, during lockdown, for her own hands. She kept it simple: shea butter, and essential oils of lavender, frankincense and helichrysum. Four things she liked, warmed together into something soft and rich.
It was never meant to be a business. It was just Mum's balm, the pot that sat by the sink and got passed around the family.
Her son Stefan saw something in it. He turned Mum's recipe into a brand, and gave it the only name that ever made sense: Mum's Balm.
Still made by the family
Today Mum's Balm is still made by the family in small batches. Each pot is filled and labelled by hand. There is one balm, in three sizes, and it is for hands, face and body.
That is the whole idea. No long list of products. Just one good balm, made with care.
What it does
Mum's Balm moisturises, nourishes and conditions the skin, helping dry skin feel softer, smoother and more comfortable. Warm a little between your hands, and it melts as you smooth it in. The scent is soft and calming, with lavender at its heart.
A gift, really
We think of Mum's Balm as a gift story. A mum made something for herself, and her family wanted to share it. Every pot still carries a little of that.
Born from nature, made by Mum.
